Gossen Sixtron/Ascor Flash meter

Gossen Sixtron/Ascor Flash meter.

The Gossen Ascor Flash meter is the US counterpart of the Gossen Sixtron flash meter. The meter is intended for use together with flashlight only. Regular light measurement is not possible with this meter.
The use of the meter is very simple, just set the correct film speed, make a test flash and read the meter. The  needle is then pointing to a value, find the value on the scale the needle is pointing to and opposite to this value you will find the exposure time.

What we are missing on this meter is the connection for the flashlight cable and the possibility to fire the flash from the meter by use of a little push button. The Sixtron has a ASA and DIN film sensitivity scale while the Ascor  has only the ASA scale.
The big knurled knob is inviting you to turn this knob but it fixed on the housing and can't be turned also there us no need to do so. The center can be turned for ASA setting.
