Digiflash: The Smallest Light Meter for Flash and Ambient
Light.
Another first from Gossen: the Digiflash is the first flash
meter to combine both analog and digital displays in an ultra
compact design. The Digiflash is microprocessor controlled and
runs on a Lithium battery type CR 2032. The meter weighs
approximately 1.5 oz including battery, and comes with a carry
case, strap and battery. The Digiflash also offers a functioning
clock with alarm, a timer for timing long exposures, plus a
precision digital thermometer which measures temperatures and
stores a high and low value.

- Measurement of Both Flash and Ambient Light in Incident
and Reflected Light Modes
- The Digiflash sports a digital read-out and analog scale
for flash and ambient light levels that can be measured in
reflective or incident mode.
- Contrast Metering In 1/3-Stop Increments
- With the press of a button, the metering mode can be
changed to contrast measurement for total control of the
shot.
- Storage of Values Measured
- The last two values are retained in memory.
- Easy to Use
- Simply enter the desired sync speed, and trigger the
flash. The Digiflash will display the resulting EV value
measured in the LCD display. The value is then placed
precisely under the red indicator. Read the required f-stop
on the scale opposite your selected flash sync speed.
- Compact
- Just bigger than a matchbox and weighing just four
ounces, the Digiflash is portable enough to accompany any
photographer on the move. The Digiflash is small enough to
sit comfortably on your camera's hot shoe (with optional
shoe adapter).
- Microprocessor Controlled Operation
- The metering system is one of the most advanced ever
seen in such a small meter: a sbc photo diode with a
measuring range of EV 0 to 18. Adjustments to the ISO
ratings are automatically recalibrated into the exposure
reading.
- Digital LCD Display of Readout in 1/3 Stops
- Each measurement is displayed in EV with 1/3 stop
increments. In all modes, fine adjustments to 1/3 stop can
be made and recorded.
- Range Over or Range Under Signal
- Timer Function

- Clock with alarm. Adjustable to 12 or 24 hours time.
