Gossen Sixtomat exposure meter.

Another type of the Sixtomat is a kind of in between type, It looks very much like the Sixtomat X3 but without the color checker. The cardboard box calls it the Sixtomat without extra type number but allready has the colors of the X3 version (blue with red). The label on the front is a red label but without the relief like the first Sixtomat has. The reading scale is exactly like the X2 and X3 with the LV numbers in red on the movable scale. The chain that comes with the meter is very dark gold colored and looks very dirty but after cleaning it still has the dark gold color all over.

Since there are no cine exposure times on the scale like the X3 has, the meter is suited for cine use. on the movable scale ther are 2 very small red dots, one at the upper scale beneath "'50" and on the lower scale above the "'30" in the vicinity of the LV 14 and 15.

So I don't know what type of Sixtomat this is. The serial number is 3B86206, time wise it should be placed just in front of the Sixtomat X3. The manual that came with the meter looks very exact to me except for the label on the front of the meter.

The film speed scale has the ASA as well as the DIN filmspeed on it.
