Chauvin-Arnoux

Chauvin-Arnoux is a very old company and factory of electric equipment located in France. The company is founded in in 1893 in Paris by René Arnoux and Raphaël Chauvin. Chauvin-Arnoux is manufacturer of electric and electronic measuring equipment. The company still exists. In 1935 they manufactured the first exposure meter named the PC-161 for protographic purposes. The PC179, also from 1935 was made for cine measurement.

The cellophot meter gained a 12th price on the show of the International Federation of photographic art in 1957

The Cellaphot made in 1952 is an ultra-light exposure meter intended to be incorportated into the cameras as a build in exposure meter
